Medication planners often rely on the patients memory of when exactly to take the dose. These containers are not designed with ergonomic comfort in mind for those with arthritis or joint pain.


Flora seeks to ergonomically re-imagine the medication planner, to empower patients independence, confidence, and comfort.


This product is specific to the needs of those with joint pain, Arthritis, or Parkinson's Disease, as well as individuals struggling from memory loss, or forgetfulness.

Empathic Modeling


Tape was placed over PIP and MCP joints to add stiffness, reduce range of motion and grip strength, mimicking the effects of arthritis.


• Circular forms favored

• Larger forms more comfortable

• Angle allows for easy hold

• Large forms are easier to pick up

• Square and angular forms cannot be gripped tightly

• There is roughly a 10%-15% difference in linear dimension between male and female averages, meaning differences in grip diameter/comfort
